General description:
Unravel ancient people mysteries that still exist in this remote territory. Taste traditional Mediterranean gastronomy. Use your hands and lern craft techniques with a local artist.

The experience takes place in the countryside of Silves between two distinct landscapes, barrocal and mountain.

Find the different traits of the people who have inhabited this territory for thousands of years.

Notice how the landscape differs as soil characteristics and ecosystems and species differ.

Along the guided hike, observe the life that swarms around here. The surrounding elements found in the different locations will be interpreted.

After a walk, there's nothing better than a lunch break to replenish your energy. You will taste typical regional products from the Algarve mountains.

In the end use your creativity and be inspired by what you observed. With a local artist, you will experience Portuguese tile painting techniques.

Terms and conditions:

The experience must be booked at least 72 hours in advance, in order do confirm the artist availability to guarantee the workshop.

Cancellations and changes accepted up to 48 hours before the event.

Changes are accepted up to 48 hours, but the new date will have to be changed to a deadline with a minimum of 72 hours in advance, unless there is space in one of the experiences alredy confirmed.

The experience may be conditioned or canceled due to bad weather conditions, such as a lightning storm or rain storm (winter and spring) or wildfire (summer and autumn).

Booking information
The activity must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Changes are accepted up to 48 hours, but the new date will have to be changed to a deadline with a minimum of 24 hours in advance, unless there is space in one of the experiences already confirmed.

Cancellation, return and refund policy
(1) Cancellation of the activity by the customer
Cancellation of the experience by the customer up to 48 hours before the start of the service: the customer is refunded with the full amount of the purchase.
Cancellation of the experience by the customer less than 48 hours before the start of the service: the customer doesn’t receive a refund.

(3) Cancellation of services by AlgarvianRoots
All activities have a minimum number of participants, depending on the activity. AlgarvianRoots reserves the right to cancel a service in case there is not the minimum number of participants, in case of adverse weather conditions, in case of a situation that jeopardizes the safety of the service (for example: forest fire, thunderstorm, storm), mechanical problem in the means of transport that makes it impossible to carry out the activity or other unforeseen circumstances of force majeure.
In case of cancellation by AlgarvianRoots, the customer has the option of choosing another date or receiving a 100% refund.
