The experience starts at 8:30 am, at the AlgarvianRoots headquarters in Silves (check the contacts and find the location). A brief presentation of the guided hike will be made by the local guide before starting. After driving to the hike track in the company's car, we will hike for around 3 hours (9:30am - 12:30pm). Once the hike is completed, we will drive back to the office and finish the experience at 1:30pm.

The experience takes place in the natural park of southwest Alentejo and vicentina coast in Aljezur. The hike stretches along the coast along the magnificent cliffs in full contact with the Atlantic Ocean. On this wild coast is possible to observe numerous species characteristic of the region. Here we will admire the surfers searching for the best wave, but also fishermen and shellfish gatherers in search of the wealth that exists in these waters.

We will pass through typical fishing villages and through an area of special historical interest, when the Arab civilization moved to these lands considered sacred.

After completing the guided hike, we will return to the initial meeting point. The experience will finish in the AlgarvianRoots headquarters.

Booking information
The activity must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Changes are accepted up to 48 hours, but the new date will have to be changed to a deadline with a minimum of 24 hours in advance, unless there is space in one of the experiences already confirmed.

Cancellation, return and refund policy
(1) Cancellation of the activity by the customer
Cancellation of the experience by the customer up to 48 hours before the start of the service: the customer is refunded with the full amount of the purchase.
Cancellation of the experience by the customer less than 48 hours before the start of the service: the customer doesn’t receive a refund.

(3) Cancellation of services by AlgarvianRoots
All activities have a minimum number of participants, depending on the activity. AlgarvianRoots reserves the right to cancel a service in case there is not the minimum number of participants, in case of adverse weather conditions, in case of a situation that jeopardizes the safety of the service (for example: forest fire, thunderstorm, storm), mechanical problem in the means of transport that makes it impossible to carry out the activity or other unforeseen circumstances of force majeure.
In case of cancellation by AlgarvianRoots, the customer has the option of choosing another date or receiving a 100% refund.
