Unique Tile Painting Experience in the Algarve

The activity’s location may vary depending on the artist's availability, but it will always be within the municipality of Silves.

Traditional 17th-Century Portuguese Tile Painting Workshop
The workshop begins with a demonstration and explanation of the traditional techniques.
Afterwards, with the artist’s guidance, you will paint your own tiles. We suggest starting with a classic design to grasp the technique, followed by creating an original design of your choice.

The tiles will not be ready in the end of the experience, because the tile need to go in the high temperature kiln.
Shipping of the tiles is not included.
An additional fee applies to cover logistical and packaging costs for shipping:
Portugal and Europe: €5.00
America: €10.00

Booking information:
The activity must be booked at least 72 hours in advance, in order to confirm the artist availability to guarantee the workshop.

Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours before the experience.

Changes are accepted up to 48 hours, but the new date will have to be changed to a deadline with a minimum of 72 hours in advance, unless there is space in one of the experiences already confirmed.

Cancellation policy:
The booking can be cancelled if the weather conditions don’t permit the experience execution or because the artist can't guarantee the presence. This booking can be changed or refunded.
