Description:

Discover the hidden treasures and authentic flavours of the Western Algarve on this full-day cultural, scenic, and gastronomic journey.

The day begins in Marmelete, with a visit to a traditional medronho distillery and tasting session — a true slow food moment, accompanied by a degustation of regional bites. You’ll also stop at the artcraft house, where local crafts and delicacies reflect the soul of the hills. This stop also gives you the chance to purchase authentic flavours directly from local producers, bringing a taste of the Algarve home with you while actively supporting the local economy.

Depending on the season, we continue to a peanut farm, where the farmer welcomes you to explore his fields. Regardless of the season or the peanut harvest period, the farmer always cooks exclusively for the group. He invites you into his home for a unique Farm-to-Table cooking experience: using ingredients grown directly on his land, complemented only by products from nearby producers. He prepares authentic Algarvian dishes that capture the essence of local life.

The journey continues in the afternoon as we follow the road along the west coast, where dramatic cliffs, golden sands, and endless Atlantic views provide the perfect ending to this slow-paced day.
